HURRICANE EARL INFORMATION

09/02/10 8:18 p.m. - NO SWIMMING

Due to heavy surf and strong currents, the Town Manager has ordered there to be NO SWIMMING Friday, 09/03/10, on all beaches in Westerly. The Misquamicut State Beach and all Town Beaches are closed.

09/01/10 3:16 p.m. - SHORT TERM BOAT AND RV STORAGE

Beginning Thursday, 09/02/10 at 8a.m., the Town will open the Cimalore Field Complex for short term storage of boats and RV's. For detailed information, please see the Emergency Management page.
